My name is Tia Williams and I am a photographer currently based in the Torfaen, Gwent area of South Wales.

In 2018 I graduated from University of South Wales after studying a Bachelor’s Degree in the Creative Industries Photography, following previous studies of the subject in Crosskeys College, Coleg Gwent. I have always had a passion for the creative industries, previously studying Art and Graphic Design from GSCE through to a BTEC level, before discovering my love for photography and narrowing my studies down.

My main passion with photography lies in portraiture and fashion photography but I also enjoy event based and landscapes photography, as well as experimenting, whether it be the subject or the medium used, for example 35mm film, medium format or instant photography like Polaroids.

I have previously worked with clients such as the Welsh National Opera for their dress rehearsal of Le Vin Herbe, as well as photographing the opening night and runway shows of Cardiff Fashion Week 2017.

My aim within my photography is to depict the beauty in the world, the way I see it and hope that it can bring a moment of positivity to those who view my work.
